Canine Wellness Care

Our canine best friends age much quicker than we do, so it is important that they receive a wellness visit to us at least once or twice a year.  Preventing diseases and other problems altogether means that you and your dog can enjoy a happier and potentially longer life together.

All ages of dogs need wellness care, especially puppies and senior dogs.  We provide comprehensive care for dogs of all ages.

Feline Wellness Care

We cannot wait to meet your frisky feline! We offer a variety of services to care for your cat, including wellness care exams.  Wellness care is important to the good health of your cat.  Our goal is to catch any health problems before they become major ones, and it is always good to have a baseline in case your cat ever becomes ill. We also want to monitor your cat’s weight, ensuring that your cat stays a healthy weight. It is much easier to start a diet when a cat is a pound overweight instead of fifteen!

All ages of cats need wellness care, especially kittens and senior cats.  We provide comprehensive care for cats of all ages.

Pet Dental Care

Did you know that dogs and cats who receive regular dental care may live longer than pets who do not receive dental care?  We encourage proactive dental care for dogs and cats to protect your pet from the effects of dental disease, a common condition that is common in dogs and cats but also quite treatable.   We provide an extensive dental care program for both dogs and cats, including cleaning, basic periodontal therapy, and care for damaged teeth.

General and Diagnostic Care

As dogs and cats age, they can develop health issues due to age, genetics, or other factors.  We are experienced at diagnosing and treating most diseases.  Together we will manage your pet’s health needs with appropriate treatment options.

In-House Laboratory

We use diagnostic imaging technology (digital x-ray) and testing in our laboratory to accurately diagnose and treat your pet’s medical conditions.

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is a non-invasive, drug-free, approach to healing.  Therapy laser has been successful in treating acute conditions such as wounds, allergies, and post-surgical pain relief. Degenerative joint disease, periodontal disease, arthritis, and hip dysplasia are some of the chronic conditions may improve when treated with therapeutic laser.

Surgery

We offer most types of general surgery, including spay/neuter, general surgery, lump removal, and minor oral surgery.  When your pet needs surgery, you can rest assured knowing that our team have the training and experience to perform simple, routine procedures as well as more complicated and complex soft-tissue surgeries.

Vaccinations

Vaccinating your dog or cat gives them a high level of protection against transmittable diseases and makes it harder for these diseases, such as rabies, parvo, distemper, feline leukemia, and others, to spread.

Microchipping

Every year, thousands and thousands of cats go missing. Not knowing where your cat is or how to bring them back can be a helpless, hopeless feeling. It is a tragedy that happens all too often. But there is a simple, safe, and effective way to ensure your cat’s safety and retrieval should they ever become lost. Microchipping is a standard procedure that implants a tiny chip underneath your cat’s fur. It is a painless and relatively fast procedure and is completely safe. This microchip is registered with your cat’s vital information and can be scanned by any veterinarian or animal shelter so that they can return your cat directly to you.

Pharmacy

We offer a fully stocked in-hospital pharmacy as well as an online store (visit our online store here!) for home delivery to fill your pet’s prescription needs.
